Riley J. Wheeler, pictured on the left, 
was owner and operator of this grocery store
 in the 1930’s and 1940’s. The store was 
located on the west side of Main Street in 
Eagleville about where City Hall is now located. 
The Wheeler’s lived in the house that was recently
torn down between city hall the restaurant. 
The other two men in the picture are unknown.
Jimmy Wilkinson, his grandson, is pictured in front 
of the store in 1942 before the sidewalks and street
were paved. Eagleville Main Street was paved 
between 1942 and May of 1944.
