Rowena Milling Company

Operated by Alfred P. Elmore, Sr. 
until 1929 when the mill burned down.
The mill manufactured White Rose Flour, 
Magnolia Flour and Choice Bolted Meal. 
Custom grinding was also done. 
Mr. Elmore also operated a sawmill on the 
same property. The mill was located on the 
property next to Henry’s Grocery Store.
